The former Greek Catholic church in Kwiatoń, today inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is considered one of the most beautiful churches not only in the Beskids, but throughout Poland. It was built in the second half of the 17th century, it is a West-Lemko church, with a log structure, with a tower with a pillar structure, inclined walls, oriented, tripartite, consisting of three quadrangles, a presbytery, and a nave of a women's gallery. Each part is covered with a separate roof covered with a domed helmet with a seeming lantern. The entire church, both the walls and the roof are covered with shingles. It is worth noting the interesting frames of the presbytery windows. The entrance leads through the western portal of the women's gallery with a flattened triplet pattern. Above the nave and the presbytery there are tent ceilings, above the women's gallery a flat ceiling. The church is surrounded by a low wooden fence covered with a shingled roof, decorated with onion lanterns. In the interior, the polychrome from 1811 attracts attention. On the dome's faults above the nave there are angels, above, a polychrome depicting the scene of the Transfiguration of the Lord and depictions of evangelists. On the ceiling of the women's gallery there is a painting of the Protection of the Mother of God. The paintings on the walls imitate marble cornices and columns. The equipment comes from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the oldest elements kept in the late Baroque tradition come from the eighteenth century. The western part of the nave and the women's gallery is surrounded by a music choir with an unusual arcade carved balustrade, on which there are several processional banners. The sacristy is kept in the sacristy, i.e. a representation of the deceased Christ made on canvas. Under the tower stands a stone stoup from 1750. More information about the church in Kwiatoń
