A dam reservoir created on the Ropa river in 1994 in Klimkówka in the Gorlice poviat. The reservoir has mainly natural and landscape functions. It also has tourist and recreational significance and is a source of drinking and industrial water for Gorlice and Jasło. The emergence of the lagoon in Klimkówka is closely connected with new tourist and recreational functions of the areas around the lake and the entire area of ​​the Low Beskids. The coast is being gradually developed for tourist needs. On the promontory located about 1 km from the dam, there is a holiday center with a marina, water equipment rental, a bathing beach and catering facilities.
